Welcome!

Welcome to my little blog of Sims 2, Sims 3 & Sims 4 creations!

If you're searching for my BPS creations prior to the end of February 2015, you'll find a link to my Tinkle BPS Archives under "Favorites" to the left of this page. All files that were originally posted at BPS are in my archives; they contain RAR files that include images, information, file(s). Any links that were at one time provided in the BPS threads are not included but the site names/file names/creator names should be in most of the information copied from the threads.

DO NOT ask me for original meshes of any creators whose work I may have recolored - I most likely no longer have the files as my hubby deleted a pretty large folder from my back up drive despite the claims that he didn't. There are plenty of sites within the Sims Community that offer great WCIF sections and Simmers willing to assist!

Ahoy Matey

Ahoy Matey was a large undertaking, working with SimDoughnut of Tumblr to fulfill his visions for his "Buccaneer's Bay" Sims 4 Lot.  SD has not yet released his lot as he has been under the weather, however he should have it up soon!  Many of these objects are S2, S4, and TSM conversions or modifications however not all; this was a month long effort which took place from the end of September through October.  Many of these items may have been converted from their original format to S4 during this time period, however I am not going to pick them out of this large set just because someone else has converted them.

Ahoy Matey has a total of 77 meshes - listed above.  Make sure to read the enclosed TOU text file as it will have more information.  Most objects are decorative however the grills are usable.

Vintage Death

- 9 New Meshes

   - Carriage Hearse found under Sculptures $1150 each

  - Carriage Horses found under Sculptures for $750
to place in front of the Carriage Hearse  use MOO

   - Single Carriage Horse 1 & 2 found under Sculptures for $375 each

   - Carriage Coffin 1 through 4 found under Miscellaneous Deco for $225

   - Carriage Candle  (Requires Outdoor Retreat)

* Note -  This is a relatively high poly set!

* The carriage is extremely high, however the footprint was adjusted to a larger size,
so as far as I know it should offset the polys over the footprint.

*  Use MOO to move carriage horses into place on Hearse

*  Hearse has slots to place objects in the back as well as to place the candles in the light fixture
   -  I would suggest lighting the candles prior to placing in the light fixtures if you have no other lights and wish to turn them on manually

Additional Note:  Parts of the hearse were from the an original mesh by hexemeter at MTS.
The Carriage horses are part of a mesh from hexemeter as well and were originally
from Dragyonslayer.  All were modified for this set.

*  Recolorable
*  Basegame Compatible
with the exception of the Carriage Candle,
this mesh requires Outdoor Retreat

UPDATE NOTE:

It was brought to my attention that the candles were not placeable and throwing out a Script Call Fail error.

No matter what I did I could not re-create that error in my game and I am still not having issues, I imagine it's due in part to the fact that I have a very vanilla game and no mods.

I have fixed all of the candles, however you will NOW REQUIRE OUTDOOR RETREAT for the candles to work in game.  You will have to remove the previous meshes from your game and then install the new versions with the word "Fix" in the mesh name.

The download link has been fixed for the entire set.

If you just need the candle fixes, you may download them HERE

Tinkle's BPS Archive

If you are looking for any of my past recolors or meshes that were originally posted/released at Black Pearl Sims PRIOR to the end of February 2015 you will find them here.  However any sets that may have been released after February 2015 will be found here at Tumblr, my Blogspot, and Sim Pearls .  I will try to post the same sets at all three, however I may not dependent on what the set is.

All BPS sets are saved in my archive and you will find them at my Blogspot.
At the far left of the blog under “Favorites” you will find “Tinkle’s Archives”
This will take you to a Mediafire archive folder that contains multiple folders that are clearly labeled.

Files are listed under each game version folder.  There is a “Mesh”, a “Recolor” and a “Miscellaneous” folder for Sims 2 as I have been creating for that game a lot longer.
Dependent upon how old the set is most will start with S2 (Sims 2), S3 (Sims 3), or S4 (Sims 4).  If the set is from back when I first started creating it will not be designated with the game version at the beginning of the file name.

All RAR files should be listed with the set name after the game version.  The only exception to this may be from when I first started creating.  In additional all my files should have Tink or Tinkle in the file name within the sets and this also includes the game version - unless of course it’s an extremely old file.

The RAR Files contain a folder with all the information that was in the original post found at BPS and will include an image, however it does not contain any links to items used for the set, the image, etc.

If a fellow creator whose work I used allowed for the sharing of their “Mesh” in most instances it is included in my RAR file.
Please make sure to read the top of my Blogspot page for information in regards to other creator’s files.

Please feel free to contact me in regards to finding a specific set if you are unable to find it, unsure of the name, etc.  Keep in mind I have A LOT of files…even I forget I what I’ve created!

**NOTE (08/04/15)**

Apparently some of the files were missing from the “archive” for my Sims 3 sets - I am fixing this as I type, so check back.

If anything is missing please contact me and I’ll do some checking, I have so many files that I may have some how missed something as it took me three weeks to gather all the info to place in this archive - after a while it was tedious and boring so I may have zoned out and not noticed.

 - Condiments (Functions as Deco)
 - Food Warmer (Functions as Table Lamp)
 - Hamburger Warmer (Functions as Table Lamp)

 - Lottery Ticket Display ( Functions as Deco)
- Lottery Ticket Forms (Functions as Deco)
 - Lottery Ticket Stand (Functions as Deco)

 - Red Box Stand (Functions as Floor Lamp)
 - Slushie Machine (Functions as Table Lamp)
 - Smoothie Machine (Functions as Deco)
 - Soda Machine (Functions as Table Lamp)
 - Cooler (Functions as Refridgerator)
 - Cooler Lamp (Functions as Table Lamp)

* See Notes *

*  Recolorable
*  Basegame Compatible

Note:  This set is not exactly low poly - many pieces are on the higher side
due to detail - I happen to like detail.  So use sparingly.  The highest poly
items are the Lottery Tickets, Pizza Warmer, and Food Warmer.

Cooler Notes:  Functions as a fridge, will have the same menu options.
The animation is a bit off when getting something to eat however.  The fridge
was designed in an effort to offer a "faux" shelf - you will require cheats to place objects inside.
The same goes for the Cooler Lamp, it sinks into the floor and will require cheats to place at the top
of the cooler.

Cheats:

bb.moveobjects on (0-9 to move up and down)

Alt to move off grid

UPDATE July 23, 2015:  The Cooler's shelves were a bit off when using MOO, I've adjusted them as best as I could to allow for objects to sit correctly.  The Original Download Link has the updated file, however if you only want the updated cooler you can download that here:

Raiders

Includes:
- Wall Torch Holder
 - Wall Torch Flame
 - Stakes (6)

*  Stakes found under Sculptures for $5 each
*  Wall Torch Holder found under Wall Lights for $10
*  Wall Torch Flame found under Table Lights for $3

**  You may require the Holiday Celebration Pack (Free through Origin)

in order for the torch "flame" to work.

 - Recolorable

Notes:

 - The Torch is based on meshes from Plasticbox at MTS,
the flame has been adjusted to use the tuning of the Campfire.
-  The Torch has the function of "Light", "Extinguish", "Put in Inventory".
-  The Torch will go out by itself after a period of time just as the Campfire does.
-  The Sim animation does not match up with the height of the flame, if you are expecting
perfection with the animation it won't happen here.
 -  To create the torch - place the Torch Holder then place the Torch Flame on the top
of the wooded torch (like a shelf).

 - Stakes are Basegame Compatible.

It's gone...

I haven't been creating because I've lost the mojo.  I haven't found any inspiration for something new, in fact I haven't even found the mojo to complete a couple of sets for other game versions.  It's just gone.

I'm not quite sure where the mojo went, I'm having trouble finding inspiration.  I'm not sure if it's because it's hotter than hades here in AZ, the kids are home for the summer and driving me insane, I have too many projects going on in life...

I'd really like to have the mojo back, I am missing the creation process, however lately it doesn't satisfy me.  Too much snark within the community, too many "creators" that are just converting and half of which don't even credit the original creators, as soon as I have a project idea another has already posted something similar.  I guess my frustration is not helping the situation at all.

I just need that little bit of inspiration, that inspiration that tugs at my creative side, something that hasn't been done yet, something I know no other will be working on because of course I am known for the unique and unusual...

I guess I'll go back to searching for inspiration while my daughter continues to sleep...once she wakes I should go and try to finish painting her room and scratch that off my list.

Any & All of My Files - Conversions by Other Creators

I have a pretty liberal TOU…I just really wish the creators converting my items, those that I’ve seen lately being converted from S2 to S4, would send me a note letting me know they did a conversion.  I am still an active creator and easily found in several places.

I don’t bite, my written word may sound harsh or whatever it is that seems to make you all think I bite…however if you’ve ever asked those I appear close to then you would have heard that I’m really quite nice and even sometimes too soft for my own good.

Really…is it too much to ask that you let me know your intentions or where I might find the object you converted?  Perhaps I’d like to have the file for my own game or be able to offer the info to those that ask me about my S2 items (sometimes even my S3 items).  Perhaps I wanted to convert it myself, well most likely not - but still there is that chance I did.

I have a few pieces from a large S2 set that I’ve been slowly working on for S4 as far as conversions go because I’m making a few changes while at it, think of it as improvement.  So if someone is/or has converted it I’m just wasting my time.

What happened to respect and communication?  Geez, no wonder my desire to continue  creating has been waning lately.  Not to mention there are plenty of tutorials and creators willing to help, sometimes I just wish you’d all learn to mesh yourself then you’d understand why those of us that do mesh feel the way we do.  Yes I’m frustrated, just get over it - I will eventually and then perhaps I’ll feel like opening the programs to create you something new, something unique and not something done a gazillion times, a gazillion different ways.
